Howdy Doo Everyone,
I am pleased to annouce the arrival of a new TV show on Access Tucson,
Roller Derby Rocks. It is a sports show about Women's Flat Track Roller
Derby. It airs on Cox 98 / Comcast 73 every Tuesday at 9pm, and every
Saturday at 2:30pm following Wiggin' Out with the Bombshelters which airs
at 2pm.
The first installment airs this Tuesday, 3 April 2007.
The show will, of course, cover Tucson Roller Derby, but will also cover the
full gamet of Women's Flat Track Roller Derby. It is a pre-taped show, and I
completed the first episode yesterday (30 March). This first show is kinda
rough as I'm hurling information at you for 25 minutes. As I progress, I plan
on adding live interviews (if folks can join me in the studio), phone interviews,
league profiles, scores and analysis, and I'll be working to show bout clips,
also.
I've set up an email for the show rollerderbyrocks@dryriverbed.com for
comments, etc. and will be getting a myspace page soon.
